SERVE
God's Work. Our Hands.
We are many parts, but we are all one body; each with our own gifts to share. There are many ways to participate in God's work at Trinity. Consider how you might best put your hands to work in our church, our community and our world.
-
Worship: Participating in worship is a wonderful way to deepen your experience and connect with others. Consider serving as a greeter, a reader, a communion assistant or join our music ministry.

-
Social Ministry: Help with our annual God's Work, Our Hands servant events and other service opportunities throughout the year.

-
Parish Fellowship and Education: Be a part of planning events and activities that build relationships among us.

-
Youth Ministry: Support our youth ministry as a Sunday school teacher or a confirmation prayer sponsor.

-
Evangelism: Do you know others who are hungry for what Trinity has to offer? Help invite, support and encourage new members of our parish.

-
Pastoral Care: Gather around those of our parish in times of need through visiting, providing food and serving funeral luncheons.

-
Community Partnerships: Participate in our partnerships with area organizations including serving at the House of Compassion, distributing Meals on Wheels, collecting food for the Emergency Food Box and supporting CIRSI, Mid-Iowa Community Action and Child Abuse Prevention Services.

-
Property: Put your talents to work helping maintain and beautify our church.

-
Across the Country. Around the World. Connect with the important work the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America is doing in our world through Lutheran World Hunger, Lutheran World Relief, Lutheran Refugee Services and the Southeastern Iowa ELCA Lutheran Synod.
